Praksis People Advisory was founded by Irena Djordjevic Behery, a business-first, human-centered HR, talent, learning, leadership, and culture executive.
Irena's leadership is shaped by an eclectic international journey across three continents — including experience as a healthcare provider, in health systems, with the United Nations, in higher education, nonprofit, health tech, healthcare, biotech, and complex enterprise environments. This breadth gives her a distinctive lens on people, resilience, complexity, culture, and the conditions organizations create for people and businesses to thrive.
Her HR leadership spans talent management, leadership development, manager effectiveness, learning strategy, culture transformation, organizational effectiveness, performance management, succession planning, employee experience, and AI-enabled people solutions.
She has built programs and functions from the ground up, transformed work that had stalled, advised senior leaders, facilitated leadership teams, and translated enterprise people strategy into practical solutions leaders and teams can use.
Irena holds a master's degree in Executive Leadership from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and brings a distinctive blend of strategic thinking, operational rigor, facilitation, coaching, global perspective, and deep care for people and business outcomes.
